On behalf of the whole team, I’m excited to announce today that we’re officially launching Sōsh in San Francisco!
Our goal with Sōsh is to modernize how people decide what to do in their free time.
The moments we spend with our friends and family are some of the most important. And yet, it’s so common for people to do the same things over and over again — go to the movies, go to the same nearby restaurants, etc.
Sōsh uses a lot of magic (curators, crawlers, algorithms, you name it…) to create a simple solution for this.
We do the work of finding the best activities in your city and let you search, sort and filter to find the right one for you. Easily bookmark and share your favorites.
This isn’t about deals, it’s about sharing wonderful experiences with the people you love.
Life’s too short to be bored. Check out Sōsh.

Productive afternoon. (Yes, that’s a minus sign in front of @vdp83’s score) (Taken with Instagram at Offline Labs)
Today, we’re excited to share that we’ve raised a $1M seed round for Offline Labs!
In exciting news, we’re starting to replace the somewhat perfunctory hacked-together-by-Rod-and-Rishi “design” of Project Dragōn, and implement a proper, gorgeous, glossy look & feel.
It’s amazing how adding a little spit-and-polish can make your prototype start to feel “real”.
The diacritic above the “ō” in Project Dragōn is called a Macron. It elongates the sound of the “o”.
You can type it on a Mac by enabling the U.S. Extended keyboard, holding ALT+A then typing O. On a Windows PC, hold the ALT key, and type 0333 on your numeric keypad. On an iPhone, just hold down on the O key on the keyboard, then swipe left to select the ō character.
This is important, people!
